The Dax!

Alright, here's the first cartoon I'm going to show you, to get the ball rolling,

The inspiration for the name, here's Dax the dachshund!

I mentioned in my first post that I was going to show you the original picture, along with what I created, unfortunately on this beauty I no longer have the original, This was one of my first creations back when I first got the AnimeStudio program. I do however have many many other pictures of the mystical beast, and for this first one those will have to do.

and there you have it! the first of many to come!

About DAXXONimation - Welcome!

Hello! Thank you for visiting DAXXONimation.

I'm going to start my new blog by telling you a bit about me, my name is Sam, and this is my first time blogging. I've recently moved to Texas from Connecticut, I am 23 years old and live with my fiance, who is in the USAF. Recently I started making cartoon characters of pictures, which is something I used to enjoy doing a lot and decided to start doing it again since there's not much for me to do here without a job.

I use a combination of programs to make my creations, some of which include, Microsoft Word, Paint, Photoshop, and the biggest contributor to my work is Anime Studio Pro.
All of these programs have been self taught for me, I have no prior background other than playing around with the programs.

When I decided to go public with my work, I created a watermark for them, and tried to think of a name. Dax is my dachshund and to make a somewhat long story short, Daxxon is one of his nicknames.  I took his nickname and combined it with the word animation, and DAXXONimation came to be. Trust me, a lot of thought went into the name, and that's the best I could come up with!

I'll basically use this as a start up blog, and use it to show some of my work, along with the original photo.
I also have an instagram account for my work if you're interested in following me.
